The Rittal LCP+ Cooling Solution's delivers what hasn’t been available before; the capability to match the cabinets heat load with the cooling capacity. Designed to be adaptable. It’s capable of cooling 3 kW to 30 kW cabinets and it can be deployed as supplement cooling or in a stand-alone scenario - raised floor or not.
The 30 ton central plant actually provides 33.8 tons of sensible cooling versus the Liebert DS105 30 Ton CRAC unit, which only produces 24 tons — a 29% boost in cooling and accomplishing this with a reduction in energy - 39% less than the Liebert’s Unit, its shrinks the IT carbon footprint. Cooling increased—power decreased.
“Going Green” made easy.
The in-row placement of the heat exchangers condenses the amount of space needed for cooling. This increases the space for critical mission equipment. Each heat exchanger can cool 30 kWh of heat and be placed where needed. One additional exchanger could produce a N+1 redundancy situation.
The Rittal’s LCP+ cooling solution, that incorporates the Rittal TS8 cabinets, provides a closed circuit of cooling. This method of air recirculation eliminates the need for floor grommets, Plexiglas air shield products and cold aisle containment doors. It also creates a hot aisle that isn’t hot; making it hospitable for the techs.
